Your Lansweeper scanning server must be able to access the Internet to connect to your Office 365 environment.A global administrator is guaranteed to have sufficient rights. The account submitted as scanning credential in Lansweeper must have administrative permissions to Office 365 to be able to inventory all contacts, mailboxes and ActiveSync devices.The account submitted as scanning credential in Lansweeper may not have multi-factor authentication (MFA) enabled.Scanning personal Office 365 accounts that are not linked to an organization is not supported. Your Office 365 account must be linked to an organization, as Lansweeper requires an Azure AD account for the connection to Office 365.To scan Office 365 account information, the following requirements must be met: Scanned data includes organizations, domains, users, admins, password enforcement settings, groups, licenses, mailbox lists, ActiveSync devices and more. Once retrieved, your Office 365 data can be accessed in the Software menu of the web console and in the Office 365 tab of user webpages. You will need to update your installation if you are running a lower Lansweeper version.įrom version 7.1 onward, Lansweeper can scan data from your Office 365 environments using PowerShell. Office 365 scanning is a feature introduced in Lansweeper 7.1.
